LASER HAIR REMOVAL
At Nita MedSpa we can treat any area of the body to get rid of unwanted hair. We use the Light Star System from Quanta Lasers, which can treat any Skin Color from light to Dark safely and comfortably. The laser encompasses an Alexandrite laser for darker skin.
All our experienced technicians are highly trained, professional and certified by the State of Texas.
How does it work?
The laser targets pigment in the hair follicle when it is in an active growth stage and destroys the hair. The hair will fall out in about 2 weeks. Depending on the area , laser hair removal treatments will be 4-12 weeks apart.
How many treatments will I need?
Usually 6-8 treatments are needed as not all hairs in the treatment area are in the same growth cycle.
Does it hurt?
There is some discomfort with all laser treatments; we have the latest equipment to make the treatment very comfortable and almost painless. Technology has come a long way. It feels like a rubber band snapping. Cold air is blown over area during treatment making it almost painless.
Can it be used on any skin color?
Yes we have two different wave lengths that can treat any skin type safely and effectively.
